Monitoring Developments in Cuba

Our Commitment to Safety

Where To Next is closely monitoring the fast-moving developments regarding the situation in Cuba. The safety and well-being of our participants, staff, and partners is, and always will be, our program's first priority.

Our leadership team remains fully committed to our goal of safely running the scheduled trip to Cuba in December 2026. We are in constant communication with our on-the-ground partners and are tracking guidance from relevant authorities to ensure we make informed decisions.

However, we understand the importance of preparedness. In the event that travel to Cuba becomes unsafe or impossible, Where To Next is actively exploring alternative destinations and trip possibilities to ensure a transformative experience for all our participants.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is the trip to Cuba cancelled?

No. At this time, we are planning to proceed with the Cuba trip as scheduled. We are monitoring the situation daily and will only make changes if the safety of our participants is compromised.

What happens if we cannot go to Cuba?

If it becomes necessary to change plans, Where To Next will pivot to an alternative destination. We are currently researching and vetting other locations that offer similar opportunities for cultural exchange, volunteer work, and educational growth. We will communicate any changes well in advance.

Our standard refund policies apply. However, if the trip is redirected to an alternative destination due to safety concerns, participants will be automatically enrolled in the new itinerary. Please refer to our Terms of Use for detailed information regarding cancellations and destination changes.
